Kenneth Kaplan
started Bioskope Pictures in 1989 after completing the Graduate Film Program at New York University. He worked as a Field Producer for the Emmy Award-winning South Africa Now before starting his career writing and directing feature films, documentaries and episodic television across a variety of formats.

As a film executive with Videovision Entertainment he worked in production, creative development and distribution delivery on a number of international projects. His film credits include Pure Blood (2001) as writer/director, Sleeper’s Wake (2012) and Impunity (2014) both as producer. He is also credited as a writer, director and show runner on multi-season television drama series that have aired in South Africa and the United States.
